#19 Hybrid rocket motor test, tears vice out of ground!

Now this was an impressive test. The vice which the test stand is clamped into was bolted to a 3′ 2×6 board, which was buried under the soil. The oxidizer tank was 20cu’, charged to 2500psi. This is an excellent demonstration (vs #18) of how much an increase in O2 pressure increases power. It tore the entire vice, c-clamp, 2×6 board, and test stand out of the ground and knocked over the blast shield and oxygen tank. Also demonstrates that our spring loaded throttle in fact DOES shut off oxidizer flow if something goes wrong!
